A demonstration of the movement of a ball and socket joint (the hip joint). The femur can be moved forwards and backwards as well as from side to side by moving the trackball.

This shows the more limited movement of a hinge joint (the wrist). The hand can be moved up and down but not from side to side.	A demonstration of the action of the diaphragm. The diaphragm can be pulled up and down resulting in the expansion and contraction of the lungs.
